I provide Outpatient Crisis Intervention and Stabilization as well as Traditional Outpatient Therapy.  I offer Individual, Couple, Family and Group psychotherapy options. I am experienced in treating preadolescents, adolescents, young adults, adults and senior adults.  I provide various session lengths and treatment modalities to meet a variety of needs. I have set my fees to be fair, reasonable and affordable within the context of the Kansas City metropolitan area.  I am also available to provide educational seminars and workshops upon request

Scheduling an Appointment

My regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  After hours Emergency  or Urgent Care appts are available through 8:00 p.m. if absolutely impossible to schedule them within regular office hours.  I set and manage my own schedule so it may vary from time to time according to my personal and family life needs.  Please call me at 913-384-2170 or email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. CANCELLATION POLICY

Since the scheduling of an appointment requires the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Without required notification, you may be billed up to the full amount of your scheduled appointment or the maximum amount allowed by your insurance company. I always appreciate as much advance notice of cancelations as possible so that I can make the vacated time slot available for someone else on the waiting or cancelation list. Thank you in advance for your kind cooperation with this cancellation policy.

Contact Between Sessions

If you feel an urgent need to contact me between scheduled therapy sessions, I am available for brief between session phone calls or email correspondence.  Due to attending to other clients, it may take up to several hours to return your call. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room for assistance.
